Distorted garage-rock meets psyche by the hands of four hard kicking girls from Copenhagen. Cherry Overdrive is the noisy rendezvous between a unique Swedish surfy rock guitarist, a dynamic drummer plus a Joplin’isque singer from CPH and an outstanding Brazilian bass player. Sometimes taking off to outer space. Sometimes very fragile. Sometimes quite rough. The expression is both naïve and experienced at the same time. Cherry Overdrive can be found on the sonic fields between Yeah,Yeah,Yeahs and The Kills on one hand and the sound of the psychedelic 60’ies on the other hand.
