"Volume One" is out now. Available on vinyl and CD. Check out website for more info! We call our style "Continental Reggae". But who are we? RamGoats is a five man band residing in Odense, Denmark. All with a dedicated love to reggae and all sub-genres. We only play original music. Ole “ The Big Freeze “ Friis (vocals & guitar): Growing up in the seventies, Ole is into old school reggae with a twist of Soul and R&B. Amongst his favourites are Johnny Osbourne, Max Romeo and Freddie McGregor. He produces & loves studio work! Anders "Dr. Love" Skeem (drums & vocals): The Doc has a passion for and has been involved with all styles of reggae music for more than 15 years, as a musician & MC/selector in one of DK's veteran sound systems, Booyaka. Palle "Pallenoia" Nothlev (guitar & vocals): The youngest member of the crew. Has a fondness for 60´s Hammond reggae and the deep 70´s dub. Karlos "Darkness" Armes (bass & vocals): From Norwich, England, Karlos has a soul background, and creates the bands solid foundation with his personal bass-style. His Inspirational flavours of music amongst many are The Gladiators, U. Roy and Heptones. Another odd amongst the oddballs: Eddie "Eddie-bear" Mochia (saxophones, percussion and vocals): Ghanaian born- grew up in England; with a true fondness for the arbitrary. Loves the fusion, jazz and dub of the reggae genre. Så er vores/RamGoats' album "Volume One" på gaden. Albummet er resultatet af et frugtbart samarbejde med producer Teis Frandsen. I Kbh. kan albummet købes på vinyl og CD hos Hydeparks Corner, Istedgade 47, 1650 Kbh. V. Det er på vej flere andre steder i landet. RamGoats gi'r koncert fredag den 18. maj 2007 i Råhuset, Onkel Dannys Plads, Halmtorvet 13 (D), 1700 Kbh. V. Dørene åbner kl. 20. Alle er velkomne :-) Melodisk reggae - det er, hvad det odenseanske band RamGoats har på programmet. Tro mod de gamle traditionelle musikalske grundstene og med smag for den moderne sound på én gang. Elementer fra dub og ska er også at finde i RamGoats musik. RamGoats spiller selvkomponerede numre. RamGoats består af Ole Friis (vokal/guitar), Palle Nothlev (guitar/vokal),Peter Deleuran (vokal/keyboards/guitar/melodica), Karlos Armes (bas/vokal), Eddie Mochia (sax/percussion/vokal) og Anders Skeem aka Dr. Love (trommer/vokal). Bandmedlemmernes reggae-færdigheder har stået deres internationale prøve. Under det tidligere bandnavn, Scientific Feet, optrådte musikerne på én af Europas største reggae-festivaler i Uppsala, Sverige, i august 2004 med deltagelse af flere af reggae-hjemlandet Jamaicas store stjerner. Reggae-musikken vinder frem i kongeriget - og RamGoats er klar!
