Spökraket is a sonic experience offering noisy sound-scapes, flipped-out improvisation, meditative drones and explorations of and excursions into the art of repetition.
In short Spökraket presents a blend of krautrock, shoegaze, neo-psychedelia and the minimalist part of ’60s garage rock.
They insist on a DIY-approach; recording using reel-to-reel tape recorders (a four-track on the first album; upgraded to an eight-track thereafter) and “pinging” via a sound card onto a computer and back when they’re out of tracks.
