Baby in Vain are three girls with firecrackers under their boots.
Being but 16-19 years of age, the three girls have impressively fast found their own place in a genre most often dominated by middleaged men.
They play an updated 2012 version of 90ies stoner rock and grunge, with heavy guitar riffs and screeching vocals, and draw inspiration from bands such as Kyuss and Mudhoney.
It is filthy rock with dirty guitar riffs, complex and detailrich compositions, earcatching hooks, and callback vocals, with the lyric universe drawing references from old films.
Having supported San Francisco cool Ty Segall, Danish modrockers Thee Attacks and going on a 10 date tour with The Floor is Made of Lava, the girls continue to win new fans and impress with their raw, cool calmness and eagerness to prove themselves.
Baby in Vain released a two 7″ singles; “Machine Gun Girl”/”The Catcher” the 25th of Oct, and “Sweetheart Dreams” the 26th of Nov.
