There is a myth circling around Hellkamp. A Myth around an impassable ghoststation in the urban heart of Hamburg, Germany. This spot serves as the spark and eponym of a band that catches the restlesness, noise, dirt and in contrast quiet moments of a vibrant metropolis with a blend of rock, americana, noise and powerpop.
Since 2012 the Quartet After releaseing their self-titled debut in 2012 the four played around 150 shows in all Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Poland and the Czech Republic including supports for Kurt Vile & the Violators, Cosmo Jarvis and Golden Kanine among others.
Guitarist Caroline Blomqvist, bassist Dino Joubert und drummer Christoph Dehne create a musical foundation on which songwriter and lead vocalist Kai Gutzeit rampages around to. Hellkamp sounds quite peculiar apart from any scene nor trend and yet totally fitting into today's time.
